Guide

These carefully designed features and installation steps confirm that GLAMPHOUSE tents are both safe and easy to use. The steps highlighted have made it easy to assemble the parts needed to create a tent that meets your aesthetic taste. It is also important to note that: The "Glamphouse" team is always open to new ideas and new arrangements on serving the customers better.

TENT FLOOR SYSTEM - It all begins with a durable floor system - available in two options: a metal frame system or a wooden base system. The metal floor system is constructed from modular, powder-coated sections that resist rust and impact. It's levelled using adjustable plastic feet and a laser, making it ideal for uneven surfaces. The frame connects with galvanized screws and unique brackets, allowing for fast, reusable assembly. It can adjust up to 10 cm with the feet, or up to 1 meter using additional blocks. The wooden floor system is built from strong, high-pressure impregnated panels joined with bolts. It provides a solid, natural-looking foundation and is just as efficient to install. This system also supports pre-fabricated terrace or interior floor panels for quick setup. Both options require no permanent foundations. Their structural stability allows for simplified permitting—even in sensitive environments like nature reserves or coastal zones.

TENT CONNECTING ELEMENTS - After the tent’s metal or wood floor system has been assembled, the upper frame is installed and connected with metal brackets and connectors. The upper wooden structure is made from high-quality Scandinavian pine - known for its durability and resistance to temperature fluctuations. Each wooden component is treated with oil or paint during production, and our collection offers over 30 color shades for customization. Glamphouse connectors and mounting brackets are designed for quick and easy assembly. Every wooden and metal part features pre-defined screw locations and unique codes, making it simple to follow the user instructions. In case a component is lost or damaged, individual parts can be ordered separately. Additionally, metal components are available in any colour of your choice at no extra cost.

ADDITIONAL OPTION FOR TENT - We recommend choosing the loft floor option, because it provides valuable additional space that can be used for extra sleeping areas or other functional features.

TENT FABRIC - Once the frame is complete, the tent fabric is pulled over. Although this may seem like the most complex part, it's actually one of the fastest steps in the entire setup process. The fabric is stretched and secured using coded battens, making assembly intuitive and efficient. The tent covering is made from polyacrylonitrile (PAN)—a high-performance synthetic fabric known for its durability, UV protection, and full waterproofing. It also offers excellent resistance to mildew, fading, and temperature extremes. Wind resistance is tested in the range of 22–32 m/s, ensuring reliability even in strong weather conditions. For added stability in high winds, we recommend using sandbags, anchoring systems, or securing the floor frame. All of our tents come with a 3-year warranty, including the fabric, although the expected lifespan often exceeds 10 years. Built-in mosquito nets provide insect-free comfort, and we use only the most durable zippers—easy to operate, yet secure. Inside, fabric loops help fasten the covering to the frame, preventing flapping during strong gusts.

TENT DESIGN AND LAYOUT - When you enter the tent, you get a very cosy and warm feeling, which is created by the wooden details and the light permeability of the fabric.

TENT WINDOWS - Each window is equipped with two fabric blinds, designed to provide protection, privacy, and safety by shielding the interior from rain, wind gusts, and visibility from the outside. A black mosquito net is also integrated into the system, offering excellent transparency so you can enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding nature without interference. For enhanced performance, tents can also be equipped with aluminum frame windows in combination with insulated wall panels. These windows feature a UV-repellent film to reduce heat gain and glare, and they can be opened for natural ventilation, adding both functionality and comfort to your glamping experience.

INSULATION - The primary function of foam insulation is to reduce heat transfer, helping to keep the glamping tent cooler during warm weather. It also offers a degree of heat retention in cooler temperatures, improving comfort in mid-season use. However, this type of insulation is not intended for winter conditions or temperatures below +5 °C. For colder climates, alternative solutions are available upon request. The insulation is pre-cut into panels that are precisely marked and fitted with pre-installed brackets, making the installation process straightforward and efficient, even for less experienced crews. Each panel is also covered with the same exterior fabric as the tent, preserving the authentic glamping appearance while enhancing indoor comfort.

ENTRANCE - Glamphouse glamping tents can be equipped with several entrance options to suit different environments and user preferences. The standard configuration includes a fabric door with heavy-duty zippers, offering a simple yet functional solution. Paired with a dark transparent mosquito net, this option performs well across a variety of climates. For added comfort and ease of use, an aluminum frame glass double door can be installed. This provides a more convenient way to enter and exit the tent, while also enhancing the overall look and feel. To further elevate the design, the entrance can be upgraded to a full aluminum frame glass wall, which includes a double door, side windows, and an upper glass panel. All glass surfaces are treated with a UV heat-repellent film, helping to regulate interior temperature while maintaining a clean, modern appearance that functions well in diverse weather conditions.

KITCHEN -The tent can be customized and furnished to suit individual needs and preferences. Glamphouse offers ready-made kitchen modules, perfect for preparing meals in nature without relying on restaurants or cafes. The kitchen is free-standing and crafted from lightweight wood, allowing for quick installation without hassle. We understand the nature of glamping guests, so if the kitchen is ever damaged, it can be easily replaced. Given the limited interior space, the kitchen features a minimalist, airy design that visually enlarges the room. For water and sewage connections, the raised floor system—typically elevated by at least 10 cm—makes it easy to route pipes underneath. Additionally, holes can be quickly drilled in the wooden panels using a hole saw (crown drill), enabling fast and convenient kitchen installation.

TOILET - Behind the kitchen wall, the space is typically designated for a bathroom, though it can be adapted to meet individual preferences. Glamphouse offers two modular options for the bathroom layout. WC type 1 is spacious open-wall configuration, featuring two extended wooden walls and designed to accommodate a bathtub with shower, sink with cabinet, and a toilet—all of which can be supplied by Glamphouse as part of the complete setup. WC type 2 is fully enclosed WC module, featuring insulated walls, ceiling, and floor for superior thermal and sound insulation. This unit can also be fitted with an aluminum-frame window to allow natural light and ventilation. Both modules are constructed using high-quality Scandinavian pine panels, ensuring strength and ease of installation. Plumbing connections are efficiently integrated beneath the raised floor system, and modifications for fittings or access points can be easily made on-site. These modular areas can also be repurposed for storage, wardrobe space, or other functional uses, depending on the needs of your glamping setup.

SECOND FLOOR - The loft floor offers a spacious area that can be used for two additional sleeping spots or as a cozy lounge space—perfect for taking in the scenic views through the large windows. To ensure safety, the loft is equipped with integrated railings, making the space both practical and secure for everyday use.The loft floor offers a spacious area that can be used for two additional sleeping spots or as a cozy lounge space—perfect for taking in the scenic views through the large windows. Access to the second floor is provided by a sturdy wooden ladder, designed for safe and comfortable use. To ensure safety, the loft is also equipped with integrated railings, making the space both practical and secure for everyday use. The wooden structure of the loft blends seamlessly with the rest of the tent’s interior, maintaining a natural and warm atmosphere. This elevated level not only maximizes the use of vertical space but also enhances the overall experience of staying in the tent by creating a sense of privacy and retreat.

TERRACE - Most of our tents can be equipped with a 2.2-meter terrace, providing a comfortable and functional outdoor space right in front of the entrance. However, this area can always be extended using our modular floor systems, giving you the flexibility to create a larger seating area, dining space, or even an outdoor yoga platform. A terrace enhances the overall usability of the tent by offering a dry, elevated surface that protects against mud, uneven ground, and moisture. It’s the perfect spot for relaxing, enjoying morning coffee, or watching sunsets—blurring the line between indoor comfort and outdoor living. The wooden terrace panels are pre-fabricated for quick installation and treated for durability against the elements, ensuring long-lasting performance in any climate.

STOVE JACK - To enhance the cozy atmosphere of your glamping tent—whether nestled in the woods, mountains, or any other scenic location—a stove jack can be installed to accommodate an indoor fireplace. This allows for the use of various heating options, including gas, pellet, or wood-burning stoves, depending on your preference and local regulations. The integration is designed to ensure safe ventilation while maintaining the comfort and style of the tent interior.
