Project overview
Set among trees on a hillside in Portugal, this Barta 40 creates a peaceful glamping retreat with views of the surrounding countryside. Its beige exterior and dark timber frame complement the natural setting, while the covered terrace offers a sheltered place to relax outdoors.
The glazed front wall brings daylight into the interior and connects the main living space with the terrace. Inside, wooden flooring, timber partitions and exposed beams create a warm atmosphere. A loft accessed by wooden stairs makes use of the tent’s height and provides additional space for arranging the accommodation.
The project shows how a single Barta 40 can transform a secluded location into a distinctive glamping stay, combining a practical layout with a close connection to nature.
